...is amazing. I've never been there before today, and after one bite of their spinach pizza and cinnarolls...mmph. So, so sinfully good. Also, I made a cake tonight; classic yellow cake recipe with these ingredients added in: walnuts, white wine, extra sugar and vanilla extract. The prepping of it was nice, the baking time was scent-sational and full-filling and the end result was moan worthy.

Ahh...cake.

It's been a whirlwind for me. I don't make it a habit to tell the internet what goes on in my personal life but, I will say this:

I've gone through a massive amount of personal growth and all things related since moving out of Louisiana this past February. There was (and still is) alot of emotional pain involved in my moving, and moving on. There has also been happiness, that which I am not afraid to admit or attest to. I've come to realize that it's ok to be me and it is a very good feeling. Aside from becoming a waitress, owning my own adult novelty products business and trying to expand my horizons in every direction, this is how I can sum up the past year: I will keep moving forward.

I am giving kudos to for this idea. Artistic self portraits are a good idea to kick off the start of wanting to improve my photography skills. I really am my own worst critic, and I have a cheap Kodak CX7530 that has done me a bit of good in staying intact these past few years. Along with a few props and trinkets I have laying around I can come up with something nifty (hopefully). Here are the themes I've had in mind:

= Winter In India - Colorful image, something wintery and exotic.
= Midnight Retreat - Dark mooded, blues and golds, possible other model included with me.
= Passion Play - Something very suggestive, possible other model included with me.

Thoughts? Opinions? I'd love them!

I received an e-mail giving some encouragement to take a few pro-done headshots. *Shrugs* Should I? Is it worth a shot?

...to express myself any which way I please (hence the new images in my gallery). A good night with friends last night, and I am on my first day off of two. Two! It's amazing, really.





Thank you to all those who have viewed, commented and/or fav'd my new work. It really does mean so much to me that I have great support and encouragement in starting this back up again. I went quiet with photography for a very long time,...time to be loud again.
